Sports and exercise medicine- Dr Chris Rufford
Dr Chris Rufford is a Sports and Exercise physician and a Clinical Senior Lecturer at St Bartholomew's and the Royal London School of Medicine. He examins and treats patients with all types of musculoskeletal problems and performs joint and soft tissue injections.
Dr Rufford has a special interest in the problems that can be associated with long distance running and is a medical advisor for the Great North Run, the London Marathon and the London Triathlon. He also has expertise in using exercise as a health tool to improve a patient's wellbeing.
Dr Rufford also has wide experience in general medical conditions and this enables him to treat each patient in a holistic manner.
